While the World Watches Iran, North Korea Tests Missiles - For the Seventh Time This Year

North Korea has once again launched ballistic projectiles - this time eastward, according to South Korea's Yonhap agency. Japanese authorities confirmed the incident. This is the seventh launch this year and the fourth in April alone.

Professor Lim Eul-chul of Kyungnam University in South Korea believes Pyongyang is exploiting the moment while America is focused on Iran. While the world watches the Strait of Hormuz, Kim Jong Un is testing his arsenal.

The projectiles fell outside Japan's exclusive economic zone. Such tests violate UN Security Council resolutions - but Pyongyang rejects the restrictions, claiming they infringe on sovereignty and the right to self-defense.

The world has many fronts - Iran, Ukraine, Taiwan. North Korea doesn't want to be forgotten. And every time another conflict steals the spotlight, Pyongyang reminds everyone it's still here.
