Swallow the Sun, the Finnish doom-metal and gothic-metal band, comes to Sofia on October 15, 2026. The concert will take place at JOY Station as part of their European tour.

The band was formed in Jyvaskyla, Finland in 2000 and became one of the most recognisable names in the doom-metal genre. Guitarist Juha Raivio, who is also the lyricist, is one of the central figures of Finnish heavy music. With 8 studio albums (Hope, Ghosts of Loss, New Moon, Songs from the North I-III, Shining), they have cult status in the genre.

The setlist covers material from the latest albums along with classics from the early catalogue. JOY Station is a club with a capacity of around 1,500 in the northern part of Sofia.

Tickets are available through eventim.bg at 62 leva. The concert starts at 20:00 on Thursday, October 15, 2026. For Macedonian fans of doom-metal and atmospheric metal, this is one of the key dates in the neighbourhood.
